Endorsement from IVI-IPO

I received a letter from the Independent Voters of  Illinois — Independent Precinct Organization (IVI–IPO) informing me that my campaign for Chicago District 24 Police Council had received their endorsement.  You can see IVI–IPO's announcement on their Facebook page.  IVI–IPO endorses individuals only, not slates.  In their words: 

In each Police District Council race, the Board is able to endorse up to 3 candidates, 1 for each seat, but made its decisions on individual basses, with no regard to candidates running as a “slate.”  Each decision is based on the candidate’s qualifications, stances on the issues, and what they hope to bring to the role in this new position.
